Happily Ever After: Navin & Shantini [11-6-2011]

This one is kind of a reverse. I was invited to a wedding last Sunday. Not as a photographer though, but returning to my roots as a singer/musician.

My heartiest congratulations to the dashing Navin and the beautiful Shantini on their most special day! Thank you also for inviting me to sing and play music for you, it was an honour. But I did sneak in a picture or two... hundred.

The wedding service took place in Saint John's cathedral located in Jalan Bukit Nenas, Kuala Lumpur. You take one look at the place and you can see why they wanted to hold their big day there. It was big, regal and colonial. The huge, faded-white, cross-shaped cathedral invoked images of religious splendour. What better place to make your vows to each other in front of God, than in here?

Although I was technically a musician/singer there, nevertheless, you can take the photographer out of the wedding, but you can't take the wedding out of a photographer. Yes? Have a look and tell me what you think of my mediocre efforts.
